Night 3 - November 6

Martinello and Kappes lead in Munich after three nights of racing by a lap, but when the two other top teams pass 200 points they will also get bonus laps and be even again. Bartko and McGrory seem to be so low on points though that they will have to gain a lap to win, but there are still three days to go.

On the third day they once again won the first chase which gave them an extra lap to Martinello-Kappes, and Risi-Betschart and for a while also Baffi-Collinelli but they have dropped since then.

Several riders have suffered stomach problems, not only de Wilde but also Mario Vonhof, Frank Kowatschitsch and Erik Wiesspfennig are ill, but all are expected to continue the race.
