58th Six days of Dortmund

One up for Aldag and Martinello

German Italian pair Rolf Aldag and Silvio Martinello lead the Swiss duo Risi and Betschart by one lap. The lap was gained by just reaching 200 points and a bonus lap. The Swiss are low on points but should be able to make the lap score even during Sunday's races, but they are so low on points that they probably have to gain a lap to win the whole race.

The other top pairs trail by two laps but have points enough to threaten the Swiss pair. If they ever get even on laps. Madsen and Beikirch won the Saturday evenings 40 minute chase and also gained, together with Kappes and Pollack, a lap. In the full hour chase later on, the top pairs came back. Aldag-Martinello won ahead of Bartko-McGrory and Risi-Betschart.
