"B" World Championships

Uruguay, November 9-14, 1999

• Day 1 - November 9th (Men: sprint, kilo, elimination)
• Day 2 - November 10th (Men: sprint, pursuit)
• Day 3 - November 11th (Men & Women: road ITT)
• Day 4 - November 12th (Women: pursuit, Men & women: points)
• Day 5 - November 14th (Men & women: road race)

Preview:

The "B" World Championships are being held this year in Uruguay. A total of 40 countries will be contesting road and track events, with the aim of securing Olympic Games berths as well as positions in the "A" world track championships next year. The winners of each event will be granted automatic selection.

The track competition will take place in the Velódromo Municipal de Montevideo, the individual time trial in the city center East of Montevideo, and the road races in Punta del Este, a city 140km from Montevideo.
