Final ReportGerman Rolf Aldag (Telekom) awon the 20th International Tour of Bavaria after the fifth stage was completed between Dachau and Oberstdorf (180 kms). The stage was won by Australian Scott McGrory after a 175 kms breakaway. The leader of the Telekom team Jan Ullrich, the only German to have won the Tour de France (in 1997), was 14th overall at the end and showed that he is coming into form for this year's Tour de France.30-year old Rolf Aldag, a teammate of Ullrich, finished the stage in 7th place 1.50 behind McGrory and his two breakaway companions - Swede Martin Rittsel (2nd) and German Stephan Gottschling (3rd). He took the yellow leader's jersey on Saturday after the 2nd part of Stage 3 - a 14.6 kms ITT - when he finished 2nd. Ullrich had finished in 5th position in the decisive ITT some 32 and 80/100s behind the winner Martin Rittsel. In an interview on Saturday after the stage with the German newspaper Frankfurter Rundschau, Ullrich said in relation to his physical condition: "I am still perhaps 10 to 15 per cent from my top form."
