Report:German sprinter Erik Zabel (Deutsche Telekom) won the second stage of the Tour of Bavaria between Mainburg and Zwiesel (184 kms). His teammate Christian Henn, who was 4th on the stage took over the yellow leader's jersey from Italian Giacomo Battistel, who won the first stage.Henn was helped by Zabel and Ullrich and over the first 120 kms he build a lead of over 20 minutes. In the final metres, Zabel attacked and finished too quickly for fellow Germans Juergen Werner and Andreas Kappes. Stage 2, Mainburg - Zwiese, 178.9 kms:1.
