Men's National Championship, 214.5kms (15 by 14.3 kms laps), July 27:The race was held on a very difficult parcours in Ustron in the Beskidy Mountains. Each lap (15 in all) required the riders to climb three short (each about a 1 km long) sharp hills. So there was easily 50 kms of climbing required in this race. In addition the first hill was cobbled for the first 200 metres and the third was in poor condition. The temperature was 30 celsius So the attrition rate was very high. It was considered to be a more difficult parcours than that used for the "Climber's Road Championship". The Mróz team dominated the race and the Elite 2 team Servisco figured prominently despite being involved in that tragic road accident a few months ago.
