Wabel's third victoryBeat Wabel took his third victory this season by winning in Hombrechtikon in the toughest Swiss race so far, in pouring rain with snow in the muddy end. Wabel beat expected main opponent Thomas Frischknecht by 45 seconds and Dieter Runkel by 1.54. Jan Ramsauer was the only one that dared to follow Wabel from the start, but when he was dropped Frischknecht soon caught him and also Runkel towards the end.
