Stage 1a     Stage 1b     Stage 2     Stage 3

Brief

Kathy Watt's win today in the 3-day Tour in Presov, Slovakia is the best-ever by an Australian in a Category One event in Europe. This is another major breakthrough for Kathy. She set up her win with a strong win in the first stage, a 14 km time trial then for the next three stages defended hard to maintain her lead to the finish.

The Australian rider also finished equal first in the King of the Mountain Sprint, but was placed second on a countback. The Tour was raced over many hills with very cold and wet conditions on the second day. There were 89 starters in the race with 64 finishing the event.
