Brief:

Serguei Ivanov, nearly 23 years old, has found a new lease of life at TVM. The taciturn Russian can thank his Belgian mates in TVM for his win in Brussel-Ingooigem. Johan Capiot said: "Our Russian teammate is now in very good form. That is noticable compared to last year. Now he is about to make his debut in the Tour de France. He shall do very well there."

Capiot: "I spent the whole day chasing. I had the legs to win, but then so did Ivanov and Van Bondt. It is good for us to have a strong team."

Geert Van Bondt led the sprint of 25 riders from a top group that contained his Russian friend Ivanov. Getting one-and=two was a really positive outcome for TVM.
