Kim Plesner Frederiksen who was at the Hall reports that Michael Sandstod has abandoned (once again... did the same thing in Herning, and the organizers are getting pretty tired of him!) So Matt Gilmore did a great job all by himself - he even won a couple of sprints even though he's without any team mate... So he's got the audience's support!

Henrik Falk (and Kim) write that the reports about Michael Sandstoed are not quite correct. He came back on the fourth night but was riding "neutralised" and is looking like he will complete the race. Henrik also reports that Belgian Lorenzo Lapage is in trouble with a broken rib and will probably abandon. looks like he could abandon anytime, he

Brief

The Danish riders Jens Veggerby and Tayeb Braikia crashed at approximately 21.00 on the last night when Jens' tyre exploded and there was nothing he or Tayeb could do.

Risi and Betschart tried to take the decisive round, but in the end it was the final 5 sprints that decided the race. Jens and Jimmi started a breakaway just before the sprints, and they kept the advantage for the first 2 of them, to take them in the overall lead by 1 point. But then (ofcourse) Martinello took the last 3 sprints to clinch victory for the Italian pair.
