Stage 1 - April 25: Arco - Arco, 166.0 km

Stage 4 - April 28: Fondo Val Di Non - Lienz (Austria), 196.8 km

• Felix Cardenas (Cage Maglierie) - wins the final stage of the Tour of Trentino.
• Francesco Casagrande (Fassa Bortolo) - on the podium after his overall victory
• The final podium - Julio Alberto Perez Cuapio (Panaria, 2nd), Francesco Casagrande (Fassa Bortolo, 1st) and Gilberto Simoni (Saeco, 3rd).

Stage 4 - April 26: Ledrada-La Covatilla, 59.8 km

• Nicole Brändli (Acca Due O Pasta Zara Lorena) in her element - on the 14% grades that provided the springboard for her to get clear of Judith Arndt (Saturn) and Nicole Cooke (Deia Pragma Colnago) at around 6km to go
• Aussie road champion Margaret Hemsley (Equipe Nürnberger) - gets a second wind on the latter parts of the climb to the ski station at Alto de la Covatilla
• First of the A.I.S. riders - Olivia Gollan finishes 6.55 down on stage winner Nicole Brändli.
• Spot the Aussie - Katie Mactier (S.C. Michela Fanini Record Rox) in the big chain ring on the final part of the Alto de la Covatilla
• Spot another Aussie - Sara Carrigan (Australian National Team) can't decide whether to lick her lips or bite her tongue
• Judith Arndt (Saturn) jumps clear - with 400 metres to go, allowing her to moves into 2nd overall
• Sprints leader Olga Slioussareva (Itera Team) - arrives at Alto de la Covatilla with former world road champion Monica Valen (Team Sponsor Service)

Stage 2 - April 24: Zamora-Villamayor, 89.0 km

• The Australia National Team relax in the shade before stage two begins.
• The race comes down to a one hundred rider bunch sprint in the closing metres of stage two.
• Alison Wright (Australia National Team) is awarded the sprint leader jersey.
• Alison Wright maintains her lead of the sprint classification after stage two.

Grote Scheldeprijs and Grand Prix Denain

Held on April 24 and 25, these two one day races were snapped by Japanese photo-journalist Miwako Sasaki (Japanese Cycle Sport).
