Night riders, led by local guide Jeff Renfrow, curled through the Lajitas Trail System on one of the organized Fun Rides at the event. Over 70 cyclists participated in the fun rides which also included the Contrabando Dome trail in the Big Bend Ranch State Park.

Pleased at the finish line is first place 100k Men's open winner, Bryan Fawley (Park Place Lexus) of Austin, Texas. He finished the grueling two lap course with a time of 04:08:05. Bryan also won the Starlight Theatre Fastest Man Award and the New Revolution King of the Hill fastest time to the top of Tres Cuevas.

Breaking the Women's 100k open record by six minutes is Rebecca Rusch (Specialized/Red Bull) from Ketchum, Idaho. Her time 04:45:25. Rebecca also won the Starlight Theatre Fastest Woman Award and the New Revolution Queen of the Hill

Sydney Reuter of Cedar Park, TX won a handmade hoop in the Shimano Youth Series Kid's Kup. She is the daughter of Noel Reuter (Bicycle Sport Shop) and Leslie Reuter (Bicycle Sport Shop/Austin Flyers). Leslie held the 100k course record in 2005 & 2006 and returned this year to win her category.
