Stage 2 - February 16: Sausalito - Santa Cruz, 186.6 km/115.9 mi

Steven Cozza (Garmin-Slipstream) takes the first KOM in stage 2 at the Amgen Tour of California. Cozza, a Northern California resident, was driving a break containing friend and Santa Cruz area resident Ben Jacques-Maynes, team Bissell, who was hoping for a stage win in his hometown.
