Vandenbroucke was charged on Thursday with possession of drugs found at his
home after a police raid. Police swooped on Vandenbroucke's home on Wednesday
night after stopping his French physiotherapist Bernard Sainz for speeding
on a motorway in northern Belgium. Three banned substances - the blood-boosting
drug EPO, morphine, and clenbuterol, a substance used to treat asthma - were
taken from the home of the 27-year-old cyclist.
