Highland Park, NJ, November 4, 2001

Mike Yozell (Guy's Bicycles) goes for the big hop ahead of Bill Elliston (Jaeger Wheelmen). The barrier was at the base of the hill "run-up", which Yozell turned into a ride-up. The hop-and-ride-up maneuver enabled Yozell to get a big gap on Elliston. However, it must have cost him a lot of energy, because he did not attempt it again during the race. In any case, it was definately a highlight of the day for the spectators who witnessed this amazing feat.
