A picture taken 06 July 1997 of British rider Chris Boardman. 'Chris Boardman won't take part in the Tour de France in 2000 for health reasons', announced his sport director Roger Legeay 22 June 2000. Boardman had worn the overall leader's yellow jersey three times in the French classic race.
