Track shots from various days

The track competition at the Oceania Games provided plenty of action. Professional photographer, Tom Balks took these excellent pictures, and will be covering more local races for cyclingnews.

Day 1 - Track

The first day of the Oceania Championships in Sydney saw the men's kilo, women's 500m, and the men's individual pursuit being contested. Here is some of the action.

Day 2 - Track

The second day of the Oceania Championships saw action in the men's team pursuit, and Olympic sprint amongst other events.

Day 3 - Track

The third day of the Oceania Championships saw action in the men's scratch race, U19 Olympic sprint and international sprint.

Day 4 - Mountain Bike

The fourth day of the Oceania Championships saw the mountain bike cross country events held on the course at Fairfield City Farm.

Tod Clarke from Labyrinth Imagery in Sydney's West specialises in Mountain Bike photography. He took these out at Fairfield City Farm, and hopes to send some more from Australian MTB races.

Day 5 - Road Time Trials

After a rest day, the Oceania Championships moved to the road, for the three time trial events.

Day 6 - Road Races

The second last day of the Oceania Championships saw the women's and U19 men's road races being contested.

Day 7 - Road Races

The final event of the Oceania Championships was the men's road race. Life was certainly tough out there in the heat.
