• After 81 mountainous miles, Kirsten Armstrong (T-Mobile) takes the win ahead of Kristen Danielson (Ford-Basis) and Erin Mirabella (Bicycle Johns).
• Paramount Racing's Abby Cooper took a chainring to the face during a 60 kph downhill crash. While Cooper finished the stage, several other riders went to hospital
• The chainring cuts on Abby Cooper's face will heal. Her carbon fibre wheel won't!
• The Elite men's field was already disintegrating before the first KOM.
• Perennial challenger Scott Moniger (HealthNet/Maxxis) takes the win
• These boys always know what they are having for lunch. Post race truck sit-in
