• A rider from the McGuire Real Estate team spent a lonely 3 laps off the front.
• Health Net patrolled the front of the field, though no one was eager to chase
• Lynn Bessette (Quark) missed the break and was unable to defend her title
• McGuire Real Estate rides just behind the Cat 2 field
• Three riders were able to slip off the front on the last lap and get up to 45 seconds but were not able to stay away until the end.
• Tina Mayolo-Pic (Genesis-Scuba) did her share of work in the break before out-kicking her companions at the line.

Race 2 - March 12: Time Trial - 3 miles

• Liam Killeen (GBr) flew to 3rd in the Pro Men
• Max Plaxton (Can) surprised with a time only 13.44 off pace
• Jason Sager (USA) helped along by raucous cheers from the crowd recovered quickly from his Marathon 2nd - rolling in 8th behind Roland Green
• Roland Green (Can) had the crowd behind him as well on the way to 7th
• Seamus McGrath (Can) put forth his best effort - starting the Canadian TT Sweep with the winning time of 12:23.81
• Jeremy Horgan_Kobelski (USA) was the first American to gain the podium with 4th
• Ryder Hesjedal (Can) started out #1 but could not best his countryman McGrath, placing 2nd a mere 2.23 back
• Allison Dunlap (USA) was the first to break the Canadian hold on the TT with 3rd place
• Kiara Bisaro (Can) looks pleased with her performance early in the TT, on the way to 2nd place
• Alison Sydor (Can) added her effort to the Canadian TT Sweep with her women's fastest 14:23.77
• Jimena Florit (Arg) drew the honor of the #1 plate, yet came in 11th, 1:07 back
• Susan Haywood (USA) drops into an aero tuck on the way to 5th
• Katerina Hanusova (Cze) winds her way to 4th, behind teammate Dunlap
• Chrissy Redden (Can) puts in a final out of the saddle effort for 6th place

Race 3 - March 13: Short Track - 20mins/30 mins + 3 laps

• Todd Wells of Mongoose gets the hole shot on the Men's Short Track start
• Ryder Hesjedal ramps up the pace on the return to the start, with Seamus McGrath (#3) never more than two bike lengths away
• Hesjedal rounding the downhill turn enjoyed perfect, dry conditions on the pavement
• Jason Sager represented the locals by joining the leaders as they formed a breakaway
• Hesjedal, Geoff Kabush, McGrath and Sager put plenty of time on the group, but Kabush took it upon himself to weed Sager out.
• Down to three riders with only 2 laps to go, McGrath takes the pace
• Liam Killeen moved to the front of the main group to block for treammate Hesjedal with one lap to go
• McGrath and Hesjedal side by side up the final climb at two laps remaining
• Kabush still hooked up to the McGrath/Hesjedal freight train
• McGrath with the advantage 200 meters and one hairpin turn away from the line
• Hesjedal comes by on the inside for the sprint win
• Ryder Hesjedal is all smiles after moving into the stage race lead,
• Pro Women Short Track start number one had to be brought back
• Three riders didn't make it to the first turn - two needing medical transport that shut the course down
• On the restart, nothing up front has changed: #8 Susan Haywood on point of the group led by Alison Dunlap (#40), Alison Sydor (#9) and Katerina Hanusova (#2) and Chrissy Redden (#2)
• Haywood sets the pace with Dunlap and Sydor on the first laps
• Sydor leans into the final turn of the "Mixmaster"
• Dunlap whips around the pavement turns
• Dunlap paces Kiara Bisaro and Sydor
• Chrissy Redden takes a pull
• Two laps to go and Dunlap is looking for position on the outside
• Haywood leads the group into the final lap, with evntual winner Sydor on her wheel, Hanusova and Redden to her right and Dunlap passing on the outside

• Genevieve Jeanson (Team Rona) soloed away from the field on the first of three laps for her second win in as many days

• Team Rona finally took up chase, but it would be too late
• Beck Broeder (Wells Fargo/Ragatz) narrowly holds on for the stage win
• Mike Jones (Health Net/Maxxis) a key player all weekend, gets things started with an early attack
• Eduardo Vicencio (Aida's Bail Bonds) wins the stage ahead of Nathan Mitchell ( TIAA-CREF/5280) and Mike Jones (Health Net/Maxxis) but Jones would take the G.C.
• Mike Sayer (Health Net/Maxxis) is all smiles about 4th place and the team's G.C. win
