Marco Pantani's funeral
Cesenatico, Italy, February 18, 2004
An estimated crowd of 20,000 people was present in the small Adriatic town of Cesenatico to witness the funeral of fallen Italian cycling star Marco Pantani, who died last Saturday, February 14. Fans from everywhere travelled to pay their last respects to the man that had thrilled them so much in the 1990's.
