Bici Imports presents Stelvio TEAMWEAR-Orbis Properties Racing Team

After a small presence at the 2003 FBD Milk Rás, Bici Imports has extended its sponsorship in 2004 with a rotating composite roster of ambitious young riders interested in moving their careers to the next level, along with more experienced riders who will serve to mentor each team. Based in New York City, the team plans to compete in NRC races across the U.S., as well as selected international races including its debut at the FBD Milk Rás in Ireland.

With an eye on expanding the team to a permanent fixture in 2005, Team manger Dan Plitman describes the team as an ideal way to advertise many of the products and services Bici Imports markets, including its custom Stelvio TEAMWEAR clothing and Bici Support Products, along with numerous other products. Riders for each team are chosen based on their results, the team spirit and their ability to garner positive publicity for the team.

For the 2004 Milk Ras, the team will be comprised of riders experienced in both the National and International competition and will be led by Pennsylvanian Mike Pudlinski. Pudlinski brings to the team his Belgian kermese experience and National track speed. The team also expects big things from 24 year old former U.S. National team member Mike Norton. In support of these riders will be another former National team member and perennial Ras stalwart Isaiah Adams. Adams will be riding his 11th Milk Ras, and will help guide the team to success in individual stages. Rounding out the team will be New Yorkers Xavier Melendez and Michael Henson, who hopes to build on a successful West Coast Campaign that includes the Redlands Bicycle Classic. The team will be directed by coach and People Cycle director, Chris Harnish.

The team's title sponsor, Stelvio TEAMWEAR is one of the premiere custom clothing companies in the U.S. Co-sponsor Orbis properties is a major real estate manager in the greater New York City area. Supporting sponsors include MoneyGram provided by David's Check Cashing, Catlike Helmets, Autographed Cycling Jerseys, Sports Balm, Pedro's, Rudy Project Eyewear, and ESP Coaching Services. Team management is provided by Bici Imports, LLC.
