Pacesetter Steel Service Cycling Team

The Pacesetter Steel Service Cycling Team has announced its roster for 2006. The team from Atlanta, Georgia will have a primary focus of road racing throughout the Southeastern US and select events nationally, including races on the NRC schedule. The team will consist of seven elite riders competing in the Pro/1/2 category on the road, as well as a developmental squad of riders competing in categories 3 and 4. The team's mountain bike focus will be on Pro, Semi-pro, and Expert categories.

Pacesetter Steel Service, the US leader in coated steel distribution, has returned as title sponsor. The team will again be presented by Colorado Altitude Training, leading developers of altitude training systems, and Cycles Gladiator Wines, from California's Central Coast.

The Pro/1/2 team will be competing on the new for '06 full-carbon Litespeed Pavia framesets and Real Design wheelsets, Thomson stems and seatposts, and Schwalbe tires; and will exclusively wear Hincapie clothing, Rudy Project eyewear, Bell Helmets, DeFeet socks and accessories, and Shimano footwear. Clif Bar is the official energy food sponsor of the Pacesetter Steel Service Cycling Team. Shop support is provided by Roswell Bicycles of Roswell, Georgia, and the team will be fueled by Via Elisa Authentic Fresh Pasta.
