Hit Racing

A new cycle racing team has been launched in Brisbane, Australia, called Hit Racing. The team has Hitachi as its naming rights sponsor and is backed by Australian and international companies. The riders are from various age groups and abilities and have been chosen by a panel with the main criteria being commitment to the sport of cycling.

Built up of members of the Balmoral Cycle Club, Brisbane's largest and most active club, Hit Racing will try to further the promising careers of a strong group of junior riders with a mentoring and sponsorship scheme. Most of the juniors have medaled in state or national events and this added incentive is designed to keep these excellent young people in the sport and give younger riders a point to aim for. Hit Racing has a code of conduct which will give the riders the responsibilities associated with riding for a professional team.

Team clothing is on the way with a different colour scheme that will be visible from most points in the solar system
