CRCA/Blue Ribbon-Translations.com Racing for 2005

With the addition of former collegiate All-American Jeff King and the experienced duo of Mark Alden and Jesus Espitia, the New York-based CRCA/Blue Ribbon-Translations.com Racing Team (www.blueribboncycling.com) is poised for a strong 2005 season. Returning to the squad are 2004 New York State Masters Road Race Champion David Taylor and perennial strongman Thomas Pennell, both aiming to tear up the 40+ field in 2005. The team hopes to build on the success of its 2004 campaign, which resulted in over 25 podium places and 85 top-ten finishes in races up and down the Eastern seaboard.

Continuing as title sponsor for the third year is Blue Ribbon Restaurants, a family of five award-winning restaurants in New York City popular among locals and chefs alike. The team's presenting sponsor is Translations.com, delivering the world's leading language solutions to e-businesses of all shapes and sizes. The team also enjoys the support of Spiuk, with Kuips bicycles provided by DPM Sports, as well as Pennell Venture Partners and the full-service Campmor Bike Shop in Paramus, NJ.

CRCA/Blue Ribbon-Translations.com is a registered sub-team of the Century Road Club Association, one of the oldest and largest bicycle racing clubs in the United States.
