Giant/Dark Horse Brewery MTB team

The newly formed Giant/Dark Horse Brewery Professional Mountain Bike Team is comprised of two professional, NORBA licensed cross-country riders based in the state of Michigan, USA: Susan Schubel and Alicia Mayer. For 2004 the team's goal is to be competitive in Michigan and key Mid-West races. The team will also be represented at each of the National Championship Series (NCS) events, where in the tradition of being the "Dark Horse", the team aims to post competitive results while remaining Michigan-based.

The team will also focus on providing a supporting role by teaching skills to new (specifically women) mountain bikers as well as instructing new racers as they transition from trail riding to racing. The team will accomplish this via a series of women's-only camps and clinics in Michigan throughout 2004.

The team will be racing on the new Carbon Composite 2004 NRS Air bicycles provided by Giant. The Dark Horse Brewing Company joins us as our co-title sponsor, and Cycle-Fit.net will be the team's shop sponsor.
