Bortolami positive

Italian cyclist Gianluca Bortolami (Vini Caldirola-So.Di) has tested positive to cortisone, according to the Italian media. The test was carried out during the Driedaagse van De Panne on April 2, in which Bortolami won the first stage, and carried the leader's jersey until the final time trial, when he was pushed into second place on GC by Raivis Belohvosciks, who won the stage. Bortolami is a very experienced classics rider, winning the World Cup in 1994 and the Ronde van Vlaanderen in 2001.
