Gilmore Signs - Northern Ireland League Round 2

Ballykelly, April 28, 2002

North West CC set out to really test the riders in round two with a demanding course full of single track, technical climbs and descents and numerous woodend bridges ready to catch the sleeping rider. A good turn out saw 81 riders starting in what turned out to be some great racing in all the classes.

In the Elite race notable riders missing were Glenn Kinning, Don Travers and Simon Loughlin who were racing in Switzerland. Apollo rider Aidan McDonald came out on top after the six lap race with Team-WORC's Joe McCall coming in Second.with Clive Caldwell of the hosting club coming in third.

Next week sees the riders heading to Narrow Water just outside Newry to race in the upcoming first round of the National Points Series. With a new all weather course promised and lots of promotions on the day we should be in for some good racing.
