The Jacob's Creek - Shimano Dream Team Diaries

Stage 2 - October 22: Mt. Mulligan - Irvinebank 101 km

By Christi Anderson

Phil Anderson of the Jacob's Creek-Shimano Dream Team took the prize for the sorest backside, which is now sporting two long tears . These are located at the points of contact with the saddle and the stitching of the chamois. Perry Moerman and Alberto Elli as well as David Olle are also very very tender in the lower regions.

Moerman had a crash in the middle of stage and Olle stayed with him to make sure he was in one piece. He will survive.

Elli came to a gate and instead of opening the gate he put his bike through the wire and he climbed under it.

Anderson battled on and has made an executive decision to change his saddle for tomorrow. Other than that it was a lacklustre day for the Dream Team.

We now launch our assault with Elli for the win.
