- Day five had even more testing singletrack to offer.
- Teams tried to stay close together on the twisting trails.
- Giant trees dwarf the riders through forest sections.

Stage 5 - July 2: Sechelt - Squamish, 65km

- The race departs from Sechelt on day five with 65km of singletrack lying in wait.
- Sandra Garnier (Crash Test Dummies) enjoys the singletrack.
- Once again the race was twisting through logging country on stage five.

- The ferry docked at Earls Cove for the start of stage four.

- Today's stage had plenty of tight, tough singletrack before the finish in Sechelt.
