Launceston riders dominate the Four Springs State round

The racing was hot and fast at the recent round of the state cross-country series held at Four Springs. Launceston riders dominated the elite categories taking the top three placings in both the men's and women's fields.

Rowena Fry, Julie Blake and Robby Holmes rounded out the women's placings, while Ben Mather, John Gregory and Steven Brown filled the podium in the men's field. Other notable performances came from Stuart Keep in the expert men and Dion Shaw continued to impress in the veteran men.

Under 13 riders Jacob Fleming and Torben Madsen finished in a sprint for the line with Jacob prevailing by a mere second. 52 riders enjoyed the dry, fast track that has eluded organizers at previous events.
