Amiel Cavalier of Australia won Saturday's Dual Slalom at Brian Head. John Kirkcaldie (NZL), who announced in Brian Head that he will be retiring from the sport at the comclusion of the 2006 World Championships in Rotorua, New Zealand, and Andrew Neethling (RSA) placed second and third respectively in the field of 16 riders.

In the women’s competition, Melissa Buhl (Chandler, Ariz./KHS Bicycles) placed first. Joanna Petterson (RSA) placed second and Leana Gerrard (Lake Tapps, Wash./Bear Naked/Cannondale) placed third.
