Team Lardbutt isn't the fastest team in the US, it isn't the best-equipped team, and although we have photographic evidence, we sometimes wonder if it exists at all outside the imaginings of Chief Lardbutt Greg Taylor. His latest missive celebrates the USA's major holiday: Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving Turkey

In the United States, November 25 is the Thanksgiving holiday.  First celebrated in the autumn of 1621 when the governor of Massachusetts, William Bradford, invited neighbouring Indians to join the Pilgrims for a three-day festival of recreation and feasting in gratitude for the bounty of the season, which had been partly enabled by the Indians' advice.  Ever since that time, Thanksgiving tradition has evolved around two things: avoiding the creamed beets, and coming up with an appropriate invocation.  You're on your own with the beets, but we can help you come up with a few appropriate words before you dive headlong into the turkey and stuffing.
