German Hanka Kupfernagel has won the second World Cup race of the season. The world champion takes over the World Cup leader's jersey from Daphny van den Brand who finished fifth in Tabor. Maryline Salvetat found a course that suited her better than in Kalmthout last week and the French woman convincingly finished as runner-up on Kupfernagel.

Young Pavla Havlikova repeated her good performance from Kalmthout and took another third place. UCI-leader Wendy Simms was in contention for fourth place but the Canadian didn't have a sprint left and finished seventh, which is one spot better than last week. That's exactly the same thing that Helen Wyman did. After a disappointing performance in Kalmthout the British rider still hasn't found her best form yet and she finished just outside the top 10 in Tabor.
