Zoltán Tisza (P-NIVO Betonexpressz 2000-Corratec) won this year's Hungary Cyclo-cross Championship, held near the Austrian border in Mosonmagyaróvár, at the age of 42. Tisza's success in the minus six degree conditions wasn't a huge surpries, after he won the Budapest Cyclo-cross Championship a month ago.

Former Cinelli rider Bálint Szeghalmi (Tusnad Cycling Team) came home in second place, while Viktor Specziár (FTC - Merida) finish third.

In the women's race 19 year-old Barbara Benko easily got the win in her new Rothaus Cube jersey.
