Montana Cyclocross #5

Helena, MT, November 13, 2005

Two old rivals went head-to-head Sunday in Montana Cyclcross Series race #5 on the ultra-fast Helena High School circuit. Geoff Proctor of Helena outsprinted Whitefish's Clint Muhlfeld after the pair waged a back-and-forth battle throughout the race. With fast pavement sections, several off camber grassy turns, and tough staired run-ups on the south side of the school each lap, all competitors worked hard for their results.

The Montana Cyclocross Series concludes next Sunday in Helena at Centennial Park with the State Championship race. For more information, go to montanacycling.org.
