Bernucci gets his first win

Italian national team member Lorenzo Bernucci (Zoccorinese Vellutex Casa Selezione) has won the first edition if the Gran Premio Open di Campania, disputed in Eboli, in the province of Salerno over a distance of 166 km. He beat two Ukranian pro's Vladimir Douma (Panaria) and Sergiy Matveyev (Panaria). Bernucci and co. made their move approximately 10 kilometres to go to the finish.

Unfortunately there was a fall at the 20th kilometre, when Ruslan Gryshchenko (Zoccorinese) fractured his left collarbone.
